Hajj Vaccinations – Book early to avoid the last minute hassles

Because of the risks involved in contracting diseases while performing the Hajj, the Saudi Government has passed a law whereby pilgrims arriving from UK for religious conglomeration have to take Hajj vaccinations.  There are many types of immunizations that are required when travelling to holy city of Mecca, but the most recommended is the immunization of influenza.

Hajj Vaccinations
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) is working with several organizations across the United Kingdom to offer the Hajj vaccinations to the public.  If you are planning to take the pilgrimage to Mecca, you will find over 1000 pharmacies in UK contributing to this pious cause. Even the mosques and community centers are helping out and people can receive Hajj immunization for affordable price.

Since millions of people gather at one single place to worship, there is a high risk of catching a virus that travel through the air.  Infection is another serious threat, especially when such a huge crowd is gathering together for these religious rituals.  Make sure you arrange a visit to your GP six to eight weeks before the travel.

There are several places where you can book your appointment for Hajj vaccinations.  In order to avoid the last minute rush, it is important that you make your appointment as early as possible.
